The Hero, Not the Villian
Carbs are not the bad guy. No matter how many times the magazines at the grocery store checkouts shove keto-friendly recipes into your face, it will not take away from the fact that carbs are a necessity, not an option. Carb sources are the easiest (and cheapest) to find. Great sources for carbs include, potatoes, bananas, and oats.

Men's Health provides a great article as to "Why Carbs aren't the Enemy to Weight Loss." They dive deep into the subject and try to break the stigma. They try put a positive light on the macronutrient that has taken on the role of a villian in the eyes of many.
